Poem: Knock Knock

By: Matt Billas

When you’re out of your element,

Routine cast aside.

Don’t fret, no regrets,

I’ll be your guide…

When you’re lost and forsaken,

“Life’s not fair” be your plea.

While you gripe and whine,

Take my hand, follow me…

When no one is looking,

Control in your hands.

I’ll turn away too,

Letting you make the plans

When you’ve think you won,

Having fought the good fight,

Glance over your shoulder…

I’m not far out of sight…
